This graphic novel is a compilation of three separate comic issues originally published by WildStorm in late 2010 and early 2011.
A Deluxe Edition was released which included a 10-page epilogue and a making-of section, bringing the total page count to 128.
A sequel was released 1 year later, and was called Assassin's Creed: The Chain.
In 2012, Assassin's Creed: Subject Four was published by Ubiworkshop. which was a graphic novel compiling both The Fall and The Chain.
In 2019, The Fall and The Chain was published by Titan Comics and, as the title suggests, was a collection consisting of both The Fall and The Chain.
